History
Two decades growing with Portuguese fruit, and starting again when we had to.
2006
Start of operations in Marco de Canaveses. 2,500 tonnes of cold-storage capacity, dedicated exclusively to kiwifruit.
Later
Diversification and growth. Peaches, nectarines and cherries join our range, and cold-storage capacity is expanded to 5,500 tonnes.
2024
Fire and commitment. A fire completely destroys the facilities. PROSA commits to its Growers to restore normal operations in less than a year.
July2025
New facilities. Reconstruction completed, with more modern and efficient facilities, restoring 5,500 tonnes of cold-storage capacity. Closer than ever to our Growers.
